Summary of Role: The Energy Market Financial Analyst will perform advanced financial modeling and analysis for energy asset optimization, risk management, and complex transactions. This role combines deep expertise in energy market fundamentals, regulatory landscapes, policy and risk management with strong financial modeling skills. You will analyze market trends, transaction structures, and regulatory developments to inform energy procurement and risk management strategies. You will develop and maintain dynamic financial models to evaluate complex data center transactions, focusing on optimizing electricity costs and navigating global power markets. What you will be responsible for: - Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models for energy cost analysis, hedging strategies, and complex transactions (acquisitions, leases, joint ventures). Perform sensitivity analyses, provide scenario-based insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
