What you will be responsible for:
- Install, configure, manage, and maintain Linux servers.
- Implement system tuning to enhance performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Perform day-to-day operations and maintenance of application systems, including software upgrades and patch management.
- Monitor system performance, promptly identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and potential issues.
- Analyze system logs to identify the root cause of issues and develop and implement solutions.
- Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies to ensure data security and integrity.
- Write and maintain system administration documentation and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with development teams for application deployment and environment setup.
- Participate in system architecture design and optimization, providing improvement recommendations.
- Implement security measures to ensure the safety and security of systems and data.
How you will stand out:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in Linux system administration, with extensive experience in system tuning
and performance optimization. - Proficiency in configuring and managing common Linux distributions (such as CentOS, Ubuntu, Red
Hat). - Proficiency in Shell scripting; familiarity with programming languages such as Python and Perl is a plus
- Experience in storage system management, including NetApp, Ceph, and ZFS.
- Experience with automation tools for system management and deployment (such as Ansible, PXE,
Kickstart). - Familiarity with common system monitoring tools (such as Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus).
- Familiarity with resource scheduling software (such as Openlava, Slurm).
- Knowledge of networking and security concepts; relevant certifications (such as RHCE, CCNA) are a
plus. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to work under pressure.
